Appliance Repair in Ocala, FL
Your problem, we Fixit.
A dead refrigerator is a countdown clock on everything in it, and a washer that won't drain stops the whole house. Fixit Services repairs the major home appliances — refrigerators and freezers, washers and dryers, ovens, ranges and cooktops, dishwashers and garbage disposals — and installs and hooks up new ones. Our technicians are insured and background-checked, you approve the repair price before any work starts, and the $89 service visit is waived when you hire us for the fix.

What we get called out for.
Refrigerator not cooling
Warm fridge, freezer still freezing, frost on the back wall, or a compressor that never cycles off. Usually a defrost system, sealed-system or control-board fault — we diagnose which before quoting.
Ice maker stopped
No ice, hollow cubes, or an ice maker that overflows. Often the water inlet valve, the fill tube freezing over, or a clogged supply line.
Washer won't drain or spin
Water standing in the drum, a spin cycle that never starts, or a machine that walks across the floor. Drain pump, lid switch, belt or bearing.
Dryer runs but won't heat
Clothes still damp after two cycles. Heating element, thermal fuse, or a vent run so clogged the dryer shuts itself off — the last one is also a fire risk we'll tell you about.
Dishwasher not draining or not cleaning
Standing water in the tub, film on the glasses, or a door that leaks. Drain pump, chopper, spray arms, or a wash motor that's given up.
Oven, range or cooktop not heating
Oven won't reach temperature, a burner that clicks but never lights, or a bake element that burned through. Electric and gas both.
Garbage disposal jammed or leaking
Humming with no spin, a leak at the sink flange, or a unit that trips its reset every time. Often cheaper to replace than to rebuild — we'll tell you which.
Not on the list? It's still probably us — book online or call (689) 303-3159 and describe it.
Smell gas near a gas range or dryer? Don't book online.
Leave the house first, then call the gas company or 911 from outside. Do not flip switches, unplug anything, or wait for a repair window. Once you're safe and it's clear, call us and we'll get a technician out — but the safety call comes first, every time.

Around Ocala we deal with hard well water across much of Marion County — which is exactly what shortens the life of an ice maker, a dishwasher and a washer's inlet valve, and it's the first thing our technicians check when one of those fails early. The Ocala area runs to horse-country properties, older homes near downtown, and the big On Top of the World and Marion Oaks developments, so we see everything from twenty-year-old workhorse machines to brand-new smart appliances with a control board and an app — our technicians carry parts and diagnostics for both.
Installs we do in Ocala.
- New refrigerator delivery hook-up, including the water line for ice and filtered water
- Washer and dryer installation, including the dryer vent run and gas or electric connection
- Dishwasher install and removal of the old unit
- Range, wall oven and cooktop installation
- Garbage disposal replacement
- Over-the-range microwave and vent hood installs

Don't see yours? Tell us the brand and model when you book — it's how we get the right part on the truck the first time.
No surprises on the bill.
The $89 service visit
A flat $89 for the technician to come out and diagnose the appliance — waived entirely when you hire us for the repair.
You approve before we start
We diagnose, quote the repair, and wait for your yes. Nothing gets taken apart on a price you haven't seen.
Repair or replace, honestly
On an eight-year-old machine where the part costs more than half a new one, we'll say so. Talking you into a bad repair costs us the next call.

What Ocala-area homeowners say
Jason was exceptional. Went above and beyond. I am so appreciative and thankful of his time, helping me, and making sure my home is safe from the normal wear a 18 year old home goes thru. Thank you for going above to help.
The tech Ricky was very knowledgeable and got right to what was wrong and noticed that it was the microwave that was not working and called Ahs to notify them what the problem was and hopefully it will be fixed

Answered straight.
Is it worth repairing, or should I just buy a new one?
It depends on the age of the machine and what failed. A control board on a two-year-old fridge is an easy yes; a compressor on a twelve-year-old one usually isn't. Our technician gives you the repair price and an honest read on the machine's remaining life, and you decide — there's no pressure either way.
Do you carry parts on the truck?
Common failure parts for the major brands, yes — belts, pumps, elements, thermostats, igniters and control boards for the models we see most. If your appliance needs something specific we order it, and the office keeps you updated on the ETA. Telling you the model number and brand when you book makes a first-visit fix much more likely.
Can you work on my appliance if it's still under manufacturer warranty?
We can, but check your warranty first — using a non-authorized servicer can void coverage on some brands. If the manufacturer covers it, use them. If they've been unhelpful or the warranty is expired, that's where we come in.
My home warranty (AHS, 2-10, HSA) sent me here. What now?
We're an authorized contractor for the major home-warranty brands, and appliance claims are a large share of what we do. Call us with your claim or dispatch number and we'll handle the dispatch side. Your warranty terms decide what's covered — we report what we find, we don't make the coverage call.
Do you install an appliance I bought somewhere else?
Yes. Store delivery crews will often set a machine down and leave if the hook-up isn't straightforward — a water line that needs running, a dryer vent that needs rework, a gas connection. That's a normal job for us.
What should I have ready when the technician arrives?
The brand and model number (inside the door, on the frame, or behind the drawer), a clear path to the appliance, and a rough history of what it's been doing. Five minutes of that saves half an hour of diagnosis.
